Tongue like electric, eyes like a child ♥

Boys fashion has canged so much over the years, males seem to be finding themselves more fake tan, sun bedded, waxed and all round better groomed than ever before? But why? I don't find this look at all attractive, I don't want my boyfriend to look neater around the edges than me, that would just be crazy.

Rock and Roll boys are where its at! When I was 15 I was in love with metal boys, Travis Barker, Will Francis, Tom Delonge, luckily I grew out of that and now I am in love with the Indie style.Indie boys are gorgeous, for example George Craig, Pete Doherty, Blaine Harrison and even Morrissey he might be old but he's still got it. The tight skinny jeans with jean jackets, leather jackets, messy hair, patterned cardigans and pointy leather shoes. I simply cannot get enough of this style, it just screams cool.

Adam my lovely boyfriend is also of this variety, I happened to pick a good one because his clothing style is and unique, cool and sexy as anyone would wish for their boyfriend (if he couldnt dress himself I'm afraid I'd have too.) He'll love that I've wrote this!

I just cannot see how boys want to be orange, waxed, wear low cut tops and 3/4 trousers with decathlon pumps and more to the point I cannot see why girls like that sort of thing.

I do not rate this new fashion however I do think some people can pull it off, maybe I'm just a little one sided because I've found one style I'm particularly interested in even though indie doesn't scream out I AM A BEEFCAKE its still more masculine than top man, all saints and river islands scoop neck t's hmm..

Doing a Pat Butcher;

While at work busy shampooing peoples scalps I've been pondering over getting a Fur Coat I really like the look of them but I don't want to end up doing a Pat Butcher (as long as I don't wear the eye catching earrings to match I think I'll be fine).
 In my mind I picture myself as this individual bohemian girl with long flowing wavy hair, stylish clothing and a rock and roll attitude but when reality kicks in I am just a Plane Jane who wears whatever she thinks is 'fashionable'.Patterned or not Patterned? Leopard Print or Plain Brown ? I just cannot decide!

I'm into all the fur and feather things at the minute, Matalan have the nicest collection of boots for this winter, ranging from black leather with criss cross metal chain detail to give you that rock chick glamour, Black suede worker boots with sheep skin in and my favourites slightly heeled black leather boots with Ostrich feathers inside which slightly peak over the top to keep your toes toasty in the frosty weather.

Wedges ! I want me some wedges and I'm not talking about the potato snacks. Wedges make anyone look good, they inches to your height while making you look slimmer ! Excellent, well they would be if they were easier to walk in and you didn't feel crippled when you took them off. I'm not hating wedges because I own a pair and happen to love them all I'm saying is they aren't exactly easy on the foot.

These shoes are amazing RIVER ISLAND is amazing.

'Glam Nan' Goes Military?

Fashion, a general term for a currently popular style or practice, especially in clothing.

So why is fashion taking over? Why do you want to wear the same dress as your great auntie? What's all this vintage about? And what's the next new thing?

Well, I personally like making myself into a 'Glam Nan' !
There's nothing wrong with wearing the same clothes your nan might go to the bingo wearing right? I love the whole style of the 1950's, the dresses, the hair, the shoes, the cars, the de-core everything just completely captures my imagination. The 1950's tea dress is back in fashion and I love it,  high street shops are full of cute patterned tea dresses that go dashingly with a nice pair of flat boots or court shoes if you want to make the effort. New look, Primark, Miss Selfridge's and River Island all stock this type of dress new look has such a cute selection with patterns from hearts and anchors to snow flakes and polka dots.

I'm very much into tea dresses, long tailored Mac coats and vintage style clothing, not just from the late 50's but clothing from the 60's 70's and 80's such as  Denim Hippy Waistcoats, Long Patterned Jumper Dresses, Leather Skirts, Denim Skirts, Shoulder Pads with Embellishment and not to forget the Classic Denim Shirts but now the fashion is changing yet again for yet another season and me being a short, stumpy girl I can't see 'The New Thing' suiting me personally.

You know what I'm talking about MILITARY STYLE.  The beige, greens, caramels, browns and nude just are not for me, I'm too pale, too stodgy and too small to pull off any type of  Harem trousers, see through nude tops or any riding boots. I'm just not that type of girl. However,I do like the double breasted military jackets that are currently on sale everywhere in local shops. TopShop and River Island are definitely best contenders for items of clothing listed above.

My tastes my change, we'll see.
